And I'm surprised you didn't break in the engine on the dyno. I know it is a stock rebuild, but it is nice to confirm what the engine is making. It is also nice to have an engine that gets bolted into the car that you can just fire up and not have to mess with. And it is also a nice way to have access to replace bad lifters and stuff without having to do it when it is already installed in the car.
Really nice job. I love that color! And I especially dig that seat pattern. Very cool for a mid 60's American car to have come like that.

There are some parts available for this car, but not many. We restored a lot of stuff, and the plating bill was ridiculous. Still, it's not as hard as a Riv!

Yardley wrote: Like all your cars, too nice to drive. I'd be a nervous wreck just backing the damn things out of the garage! You do such nice work, Kevin. Kudos! I hope the article in HMM gave you a huge plug.
Thanks for the kind words again Yardley! While this is certainly a very nice car, it was meant to be driven and enjoyed. It drives really nicely, but you do have to be a bit careful with it. It's a big car and doesn't slip into parking spots that easily! The Hemmings Muscle Machines team was very kind to us, they are good friends and we are lucky to have these kinds of opportunities!
