Excellent! Hoping the trip to the mechanic's shop is a smooth one! Looking forward to seeing it out on the road, Ben!

The el Camino is officially roadworthy and back under my carport ready to drive and enjoy, I took a quick video of a startup today as a storm was approaching in celebration, I look forward to posting some more pics and video of ol elky in action soon!

Ben, the El Camino sounds great! Thanks for sharing the video. It also sounds like you had a heck of a storm coming in! We look forward to seeing your updates, and congrats again on the Elky! (Nice license plate, too!)

Thanks Kevin, I'm glad you liked the video, and the number plate too
I really enjoy your muscle car of the week videos and to have you support my posts means a lot to me.
I've taken the el Camino for a couple of drives now working out a few issues but on my first big drive (which I saved for my Dad!) he recorded this video! Unfortunately a new issue came up, you'll hear it when you watch but the tailshaft slip yoke started to hit the top of the tunnel, hopefully an easy fix but I look forward to posting a full video when she's up and running again, enjoy.

Wow Ben, the engine sounds really good! It looks like it drives nicely as well. Congrats! As for the yoke, that could be a couple things, you'll have to crawl back under the car to see. Pinion angle, ride height, oversized yoke... let us know what you find! Thanks for taking us on a drive, the other drivers must have been thrilled to see the bright red El Camino going down the road!
