Thanks Kevin, I had a look under the car and I could see the mark the slip yoke was making on the top of the tunnel so I removed a small 5mm/0.2in spacer underneath the transmission mount and I took it for a test drive and no more issues! Hopefully that spacer doesn't serve a higher purpose but the transmission mount is in good condition, I'll keep an eye on it!
