This clean 2014 Jeep Sahara came to the V8 Speed and Resto Shop after sustaining some damage to the original hood. The owner took the opportunity to have our team install a new custom AEV Heat Reduction hood for better cooling and style. The hood arrived at the shop requiring a bit of preparation and a color match to the Polar White Jeep, which was all easily handled by the body and paint department at The V8 Speed & Resto Shop. It was running really rich and the brakes were shot, so the V8 Speed & Resto Shop team rebuilt the carburetor and tuned it, replaced the brake master cylinder, and the happy little V8 powered Merc is ready for the road once again.

He never lost that vision, and made his dream come true, and then some! Smith has held the big chair at some of the top car enthusiast magazines including Hot Rod, Car Craft, Chevy High Performance, and regularly contributes to numerous other titles in print and online. Jeff and Kevin worked together at Petersen Publishing, and Jeff shared some cool stories with Kevin and Mike about magazines, achieving your goals, and some inside info on the cover that nearly cost Jeff his job!
